Autumn woodland walk

We were so disappointed to see this when we got to Maesyfelin woods! Even the horse looked sad! But Mrs Abel took us to the Ivor woods instead! We were so well behaved considering we had to walk further and listened very well to our teachers. Mrs Abel, Miss Allen and Miss Mottram were very very proud of us!

We had such fun running around the woods and collecting sticks. We saw lots of leaves falling off the trees and lots of lovely Autumn colours on the trees!

Then we all got a turn to play 'Pooh sticks' on the bridge! We threw our sticks over one side of the bridge and went over to the other side to see which stick would come first! We found out that if we our sticks landed in the fast flowing part of river, even if it was smaller than our partners it came first!!

We can't wait to visit the woods again!

Here are Mrs Carter's class the same afternoon going to the woods! They had a wonderful time too and Mrs Carter, Mrs Meek and Mrs Harris were really proud of them too!
