Easter bonnet parade

Don't we all look lovely in our Easter bonnets/hats! Miss Harwood came to judge them all for each class.

Easter egg rolling

We had loads of fun egg rolling this morning! And the winners were: Alyse, James and Daniel in Mrs Abel's class and Isabella, Bibiana and Berenika in Mrs Carter's class! Well done to everyone - the eggs were very prettily decorated.

RE - The Easter story

Mrs Abel showed us a powerpoint of the 'Easter Story'. We found out what this Christian festival is all about and why we have chocolate eggs to eat on Easter Sunday. We coloured in pictures of the story and put them in order in our topic books.

PC Daniels visit

We had a visit from PC Daniels on Monday. She came to tell us about people who help us. We talked about all the names of the emergency services and some of us dressed up as them! We learned about the special emergency number we need to ring when there is an emergency (999) and what number we need to call if we need help in some way but it's not an emergency (101). PC Daniels told us we were absolutely marvellous and well behaved - well done Reception!

Red nose day

We've had a fantastic fun Red Nose Day today! Our faces have been painted, we've rolled our noses and all had sweets to celebrate, we've had our photos taken (hope you looked in their bags!) and we got to pour spaghetti all over Miss Harwood!!! Lots of money was raised and lots of laughs were heard!!
