Mathematical Development Problem solving activities (Activity 5)
The children really enjoyed this activity! They had to work in pairs to discover how different pieces of picture fitted together to show the photo on the card. There were 6 different animals and each pair tried to see how many pictures they could complete correctly within 15 minutes. Some of them were harder than others (lion, dog and giraffe) with different sized and shaped pieces! They all did very well and lots of positive feelings of success was the result!
