Knowledge and Understanding Autumn Walk

This week we have carried on this term's theme of Colour in our World. We went on an Autumn walk in the woods and collected lots of leaves and twigs. We loved running up and down the slopes and exploring the woods. We talked about what we could see (Beth wyt ti'n weld?), what we could hear and what we could smell. We found lots of different places where animals might be living (including dinosaurs and elephants!) and we talked about the different homes that animals have.

When we got back to school we turned our twigs and leaves into Autumn journey sticks. We sorted the leaves into different colours, shapes and sizes and then chose which ones we wanted to use.
