The 'Trashion' show

Well didn't we all look fantastic dressed in 'rubbish'!!
Our Trashion show was simply amazing!

It started off with a performance from The Burnells' dance troop!

Then our famous judges were introduced - Donna Vertrashy, Ralph Litteren, Julian Muckdonald and Jean Paul Garbageay!

Class by class the children walked up onto the stage and down the catwalk, they struck a pose at the end and then lined up for the judges to choose their finalists.

At the end of the show all the finalists were put on the stage and then the winners for each class announced! The winners for Reception were Bethan and Alfie - well done to you and to everyone who made such an amazing effort for the show. The important message regarding 'reduce, re-use and recycle' was clearly heard and understood by everyone!

Repeating patterns

We've been creating repeating patterns this week using 2 or 3 or 4 different colours! After half term we are going to record repeating patterns in our topic books too!

Well done Luc you completed these repeating patterns all by yourself!

Bird feeders

On our walk around our school grounds we noticed that all the bird feeders were empty! So we decided to put that right! So here we are mixing fat and bird seeds together (it felt really squishy and squashy!) and forming balls to put in new and old bird feeders! Then we went around our school grounds and placed them carefully for the birds to have a treat!!
