The last two weeks we have been learning how to subtract or take-away. Some of us are getting really good at it so this week we had a challenge to read the number sentences and either do the take-aways (up to 30) in our head or use a number line or use a 100 square (after we had been shown how to). We all did very well and got housepoints and stickers for being so clever.
