This is some of Mrs Abel's class in our Forest room. We had been talking about our targets/goals for the last few weeks in Reception and coloured a lovely flag that we are going to put on our sandcastle target wall and then we were able to choose what we would like to do. Some of us drew fantastic beach pictures on the IWB!! Some of us chose to dress up and then hang out with our friends and have a quiet chat with each other and some of us chose to sit quietly and read books. All of these things are important to us and the forest room lets us be a little bit quieter than some of our other areas.
