We have been thinking about 'adjectives' this week. We found out that they are words we can use to describe things! We listened to a poem called "Here comes Summer' and discovered the different describing words for the robin, clothes and roses. Then we thought about what we would find on a beach and tried to describe those. Here we are putting our hands into a mystery bag of beach objects. We had to pull one out, look carefully at it and touch it to see if we could find words to describe it. Then we drew a picture of our object and wrote a list of describing words. We came up with wonderful words like stripy, bumpy, smooth, hard, sharp.
