We've been going 'Gruffalo' crazy these past few weeks!! We've listened to the story from the book, watched the DVD and now can tell you some of the language used by Julia Donaldson in this fantastic story!
We've coloured and painted pictures of the characters and made the Gruffalo out of playdough.
We've used our emergent writing to write speech bubbles for the characters.
We coloured and cut out pictures of the story and then sequenced them starting with what happened at the beginning, middle and end.
In our number work we cut out sets of 5 mice and 6 gruffalos.
We've loved making Gruffalo masks and pretending to be him!
