Knowledge and understanding of the world -Toy museum visitor

On Wednesday we had a special visitor in Reception. Auntie Hilly came from a toy museum near Carmarthen. She brought some wonderful toys for us to see! Toys that our mums and dads, our grandmas and grandads and even our great grandmas and grandads would have played with! We found out what they did and how they moved and what they were made of. We saw Barbies and Cindys, old roller skates, teddies, dolls and much more. Here are the photos of us all enjoying the visit.

Their oldest Welsh doll.

A leather football

A teddy bear made during the 2nd World War.

We listened very carefully to everything that Auntie Hilly said.
