We found out this week why we have Pancake day. We know that the real name for Pancake day is 'Shrove Tuesday' and this is the day before 'Lent' begins - a Christian festival that lasts for 40 days and nights and then it's Easter!! In the past Christians would give up rich foods for Lent so the day before it began (Shrove Tuesday) they it used up all and made pancakes!!

She even tossed them in the air - none of them fell on the floor!
We chose our toppings from chocolate or strawberry sauce, sugar and lemon - yummy!
