Role play - Home corner

The Home Corner in Reception allows the children to interact whilst taking on a familiar role within a familiar context. The children are beginning to represent ideas through self initiated play. Here the children are enjoying playing 'mums and dads'. Their jobs included laying the table, making dinner, washing up and looking after a baby.
