After our trashion show we went up to visit our pond area and animal area which are important parts of our school grounds. We first looked to see how we will tidy them up ready for Spring and then we went to look in our pond.
WOW we found lots of fully grown frogs that have come back to our pond - literally dozens of them!! and lots and lots of frog spawn too that our returning frogs have laid! We were so excited as we know that in the Spring we will be able to visit the pond and see the tadpoles, froglets and frogs!!
Mrs Carter tried to catch a frog to show us all but every time she caught one it jumped out of her hand! We found out just how slimy and slippery their skin is!!
