What a wonderful christmas trip we had! The Dean Heritage Centre did a great job of organising four lovely activities for us to do. Because there were so many of us we were split into three groups and rotated around the activities on offer. So I'm posting photos from all three groups!
The four activities were a visit to Santa's house; the Gruffalo trail and the Christmas trail (to find Donner & Blitzen) and christmas crafts and treats (making a christmas card and eating some christmas chocolates)
These photos are of Group 2
This is the Victorian classroom where we found one of the clues to the christmas trail. Look at our faces when Mrs Abel explained how school was for children at that time!!
The Gruffalo trail told the story that we now know inside out!! We were able to join in with all the posters telling the story! and the carvings of the characters were beautiful!
