On Tuesday we learned why we have pancake day and it's special name - Shrove Tuesday. We found out that Lent begins the day after which lasts for 40 days and nights and then it's Easter!! Many people give up something for Lent - we decided to give up 5 minutes of our play time!!
Then we had a wonderful afternoon helping to make pancakes and then of course eating them with lots of toppings to choose from - sugar, lemon, chocolate spread & syrup - they were absolutely delicious!!
