This week we have been learning about 'Lent'. We learned that pancake day is called 'Shrove Tuesday', that Christians give up something for Lent to prepare for the festival of Easter. Lent lasts for forty days and nights. We spent a few minutes thinking about what we could give up and came up with some beautiful ideas! One of them was to give up some of our playtime! So, that's just what we did! We gave up 5 minutes of our morning playtime to think about others in the world and how we could help them.
