Making and eating vegetable soup and fruit salad - celebrating harvest time

We peeled and chopped potatoes, leeks, swede, parsnips and carrots.
We needed to be very careful with the peelers and knives!






It looked and smelt delicious!



We gave our soup the thumbs up and some of us wanted seconds!

Look at all the empty bowls!!!




We also enjoyed peeling and chopping lots of different fruits for our fruit salad - apples, strawberries, kiwis, bananas, melon, plums, nectarines.


Of course the best bit was the tasting!! - yum yum!
