As part of our theme of toys we have been learning about where different toys come from. We learnt that lego comes from Denmark, Hello Kitty comes from Japan, boomerangs from Australia and the yo-yo comes from America. We looked at pictures of different boomerangs and saw that they are decorated with different patterns. We all had a go at designing our own boomerang - they will make a lovely border for our Toys of the World display.
